stuck Suburban tailgate window

I have a 77 Suburban with the tailgate window stuck in the down position.  It used to work intermittently, but now nothing.  Any suggestions?

Cheak the wiring were the door swings up by one of its
hinges. could be  a wire broken i had the some problem.
