Great question. I ordered a k5 blazer tank and it is huge. I really think I ended up with a suburban fuel tank but I am sure I can make it work. That is the next step. I really want to make the fill hole behind the license plate. We will see.

This was a 4.3v6 truck and even though Google search affirmed that the frame perches would work for the 350 that was not true. I fabbed mine up using 3/16" 4" strap steel drilled and re welded to the perches. I also had to trim off some of the perch tabs.

Engine and trans went in easier than I thought. I was expecting to run into trouble with the sump oil pan and I did. Not too shabby. Excuse the dirty firewall, I had to mount the cab to set in the engine. I will remove the cab and clean her good.

I set the engine as far back as I could leaving room for the huge hei distributor. Set the angle at 0 side to side and -3 degrees back. This leaves the tail of the tranny at -6 degrees.
