as long as its not binding you will be ok. i run 6" on a sm465 so my angle is greater than that and i been running that for years. not to mention everyone else with a stick shift. i mean if you want to go back to stock then have at it. i just dont want you to think something is wrong with a setup

It's all good.
Just pointing out that I think the OP may have been referring to U-joints rather than ball joints.
