hey ya'll
« on: June 17, 2015, 08:42:19 pm »
I got this 79 blazer that was sitting under a shed for about 8 years. It had belonged to a cousin whose mom sold it to me dirt cheap. I had to put fresh tires on it, the old ones were dry rot. Put fresh gas and new battery in and got it started, on the trailer, then bring it on home. So far I've rebuilt the carb, replaced the gas tank, brake job all the way around, new belts and hoses, then complete tuneup. The 350 motor has 110k on it and runs fine, no smoke. So I want to get it inspected/tagged and find that I have lights & blinkers not working. RATS had chewed the wires to the front lights. I got a used wiring harness off ebay, installed it and still have turn signal issues. I think I have a short (more chewed wires) under the dash. Just haven't verified yet. Anywho, its gonna be fun to bring the blazer back to life.
