What's it worth?

I'm looking to buy a '91 Suburban V-series (square body style). It has a ~90k mile 350 that runs real smooth, good vacuum; oil pressure is a little lower than I'd like to see (~40 psi @ 55 MPH). Trans leaks, but shifts nicely. 4WD works (!?). The body needs paint and has some fender damage from a 4-wheeling accident. The seats have been re-upholstered and are very clean with no rips. A/C doesn't work. It needs a lot of routine maintenance done (tune up, hoses, belts, alignment & balance, little stuff). Tires have good tread and some weather cracking. Frame appears to be straight. Guy's asking $2500 and I'm thinking of offering $2k.
What do you guys think? Sorry no pics. My phone decided that I don't need a working camera anymore. :-(
Thank you!

BTW, it's a TBI 350. 3/4 ton. Eight lug axles.
Truck has been non-opped since 2008 and its ability to pass Cali smog is unknown.

You'll spend a bundle getting it to pass smog test

Id pass, theres definitely better deals out there. Atleast in maryland where i live there is. For example now that im obsessed with these trucks again after trading my 97 wrangler an 87 toyota 4x4 for the lifted 81 LB k20 i have now, im going to look at another truck tomorrow a.m. its a 1984 k10 auto 700r4 with 8 lug rears, 3in body lift an 3 suspension lift with 50% tread 35/12.5/16.5 tires on American racing wheels. Has the beginnings of the usual rocker/ cab rust but not through yet. Interior i decent considering.glass is good, has summit headers an 2 1/2 in dual exhaust straight out the back with thrush turbo mufflers. Paint is original so shows its age an has some dings here n there. Beds all scratched up inside. Has new body moldings too but not installed also a windshield visor that needs paint an installed also. Obviously a decent truck, right? $3000 !! So my advice is to be patient and wait for the right deal. Youll be much happier in the long run. Just my 2 cents. Good luck,

1 more thing, the truck wouldn't be a bad deal if 1 you don't mind and enjoy the "building" process AND if you use a trick thats worked for me before, go look it over, act hesitate, make em think your just gonna pass m walk away. Then after all this HESITANTLY offer em $1800 for it. If he says no then thank em and walk away. Give it like 1 1/2 - 2 hrs to see if he calls u to accept the offer if not then you can call an offer the $2000 u were going to earlier. Theres a bit of a gamble in it but chances are he takes the $1800 or afterwards accepts the $2000 because in his mind it migjt not be worth what he thought, he might not even get another 2k offer. Idk just trying to be helpful. I used that strategy to get 1968 AMC javelin for $1200 instead of $2200. Maybe it'll work for you aswell.

Thanks gentlemen. These trucks are getting rare and some of them are going for a lot more than I think they're worth. I saw a K20 truck a few weeks ago that was in similar shape except missing the front drive line. Guy was asking $3500 for it.
Anyway, I bought the Suburban for $2k, so wish me luck. I'll post pics when I pick it up.
