Sudden change in exhaust sound

Quick questions guys got an 81 chevy C10 hit the gas a little harder than normal got a little 350 with after market goodies got a mild cam and other goodies any how I hit the gas and now my exhaust sounds like I got glass packs any idea what that might be thanks for yalls time I did check underneath but didn't see nothing out of the ordinary

a leak might cause it. you have to check the whole setup, lack of back pressure will cause pops and cracks

Vacuum leaks are the prime cause of pops and crackles.

Rust out is the prime cause of increased volume and changed tone.

Exhaust leaks, donuts not sealing from manifolds to y pipe?
Vacume leaks (mine did the same thing last year when the EGR was leaking by, before it rotted off) Was alot louder than normal, bad fuel milage, smelled rich all the time.
Iv dropped a tranny mount from torquing the truck too much, tranny fell down on the crossmember and was making a loud funny noise too.
