Hello From Lower Virginia
« on: July 23, 2015, 10:54:36 am »
Hello, I am the new owner of a 86 Silverado short bed. It has been completely re-done and sports a 383 stroker with a moderate cam, duel feed 800 Holly...etc.

My problem is the dealer who I purchased the truck from cannot/will not give me the name of the person who did the work on the motor! Anyway there are still a few things I want to do to this rascal and what better place to start than here.

I am looking forward to chatting with anyone who is modifying an 86 Silverado or similar vehicle.

My name is Rick, I am 70 years old and this truck was on my bucket list. Other vehicles I own include a 2010 Dodge Laramie Hemi, a 97 Ram, a 2000 Escalade, 51 Chevy, 2003 Thunderbird, and a small Mitsubishi pick-up...(Military off road only).. 1989 Yamaha Virago, 1999 V-Star, 2003 Harley Road King Classic! I live in lower Virginia and love to fish. Take care and God bless. cordell/Rick

  Welcome from Mass.
Sounds like a fun collection of vehicles.
If I had to guess I'd say that the dealer doesn't know who did the motor work. I've bought modified vehicles like this from  dealer's only auctions and they usually don't come with any receipts.
