Drive shaft too short?
« on: July 29, 2015, 06:05:33 pm »
I have a 1974 K-5 Blazer and I installed a 4 inch suspension lift, and when I went to install my front drive shaft it was too short??  What to do?  Why does it not fit?  I don't understand?

I have 4 inch tuff country lift in my truck and the front driveshaft barely reaches (at the end of splines)....what brand lift is it? Did you make sure your front shaft is completely extended? (they can "freeze up" after sitting for a while) Hope this helps.

the front shaft can handle a 6" lift. you do have the truck sitting on the axles/springs right and not still jacked up by the frame? the springs will also settle but havnt had a problem before with 6" lift. shocks attached?
