Square body 7 foot or 6.5 bed
« on: August 17, 2015, 02:13:18 am »
Never really seen a 7 or 6.5 foot bed on the 73-87 trucks. Has anyone either sectioned a 8 ft bed to 7ft or extended a 6ft bed to 6.5 on the front end of the bed? Just don't really like having the long bed on my crew it's just too long and the short bed conversions just seem too short. Just looking for something different.

The extended cabs have a weird custom bed. Don't know the size but zieg and a couple other members have them

The extended cabs are long beds with 18 inches sectioned out of the beds they do look a little goofy has anyone every taken out just 12 to make a 7 foot bed?

I probably won't have time this year as its the weather is depleting fast but I want to do this... The truck is still a LWB but the box gets shortened..
