Shackle Flip Awesomeness

No I don't have any progress pictures as I'm the only person doing it with a limited schedule and trying to get as much done. People often wonder the results of doing a shackle flip with old springs. My truck is 40 years old and has what I believe to be the stock springs. I am in the process of installing a 4" lift and went with a ORD shackle flip on the rear.

For now these are rough measurements from center of axle to bottom of fender opening. I know somewhere in here is stock measurements from top of axle tube to the bottom of the frame so if someone who reads this could provide that info I could do those measurements.

I have an 86 sierra with a 17 year old spring 2" lift kit. I did the ord shackle flip kit with super shackles and kept the rear lift springs and did new 6" front springs. Not done building project but i was amazed that the rear is sitting level with ftont end . When the motor goes in, the front will be alittle lower. ( i think it looks better than the backend sagging). So I myself like the shackle kits
Just my 2 cents
Would like to see photos when u are done

Will do! I will also grab the axle tube to frame measurements as well once I get on some flat ground.
