Where can I find a DEE ZEE part# WBM-101(73-87 long bed 3/8" thick bed mat)

autozone is a dealer of dee zee and i dont see one on autozones web site nor do i see one on dee zee's. all i see is universal

I saw that part# on a laminated sheet at my local Blains Farm & Fleet store. Of course they only have late model stuff in stock.

Well, I called DEE ZEE and they no longer have a direct fit for our 73-87 trucks!!!!

All they have is a  48" wide mat that is universal & doesn't fit into the other parts of the bed!

QUESTION...   Is an '88 long bed just about the same dimensions???

I believe ours has more up in front of the wheel wells than the 88 on up.  If you don't find the answer I will be able to find it out in a couple of weeks when I make the start of my move south.  My cousin has a 1991 with a bed mat and I'll throw it in my 84 and take a picture for you.

Have you tried Ebay or Craigslist? I have a bed mat in my 73 long bed, it's super old, got it from my buddy who had it in his 79 long bed for a long time when it was his dad's truck. I'll go out and look what brand it is.

Ok. Mine is a NyraCord. It's old but still bends easily and looks a heck of a lot better than the paint under it.



Also, I found a website that seems to sell them. If you click on the "Product Options" button, it brings up a list. Chevy/GMC is first, the 6th entry down the list is 73-87 trucks, they have the part numbers & measurements for short and long beds.

Evidently DEE ZEE has no FREAKING clue how popular our trucks are!!    :(

Purely from the business perspective it would be silly to carry a skew of something that went away in 1992 and probably had them around for 5 years.  Similar to the topper industry.  They can't keep those Gel coat molds around forever taking up space.  Obviously another item to collect in my junkyard endeavors...
