1979 Sierra Grande SWB

Just bought a 79 Sierra Grande 2wd, SWB. It's got 55k miles on it, and I'm 99% sure that's original miles, not rolled over. Truck is super clean, no rust no bondo, straight body lines, doors close, all that good stuff. I have the orginal title, never been titled in anyone else's name, I'm technically the 3rd owner. Old man bought it new in 79 and had it up until he died a couple years ago, son sold it to the guy I bought it from. It was originally an inline 6 truck with power steering. The guy I bought  it from put a 350 long block crate motor in it, bolted right up to the th400 Trans and 12 bolt rear end.  Planning on a 2.5"/4" drop for now maybe add AC, spray in bedliner, tint the windows and then drive it....doesn't need a lot done. Dude new what he had so I paid for the truck but don't think I got it too bad, $8,500 for it. What yall think about it?

Nice truck.
You asked and you will get bunch of opinions.
I'll start.

Keep it as original as possible.
Keep the tires and wheels.
Don't drop it.
Install the heater hoses.
Install a fan shroud, fan, and fan clutch to match the 350.

I agree with BBM3 completely. But I also agree with you about tinting the windows. The truck looks great just as it is.
