i don't like the styling, although if tractor trailers still looked like that it would be cool.

Also, deliverymen don't look like that.  Or act like that.

Isn't it crazy that it took them well over 20 after this advertisement to market trucks as a family vehicle and not just a work muel. I just wish cup holders were on the forefront of technology in '87

Yea I know.... I have a firm belief that there are some things that should have been an option on these trucks, I know they had the technology to do it, why it wasn't applied to the truck division I may never know.

It's nuts
Cars got disc brakes in 66.  At least the thunderbird did
But trucks, designed and used to haul and tow  heavy loads didn't get discs for another TEN years .....

Two words....Power Mirrors. They had them on the camaro's and other cars, why not the truck, these things are a pain in the butt to adjust mirrors on! The only ones they did put mirrors on in 91, were the ugliest job. They tried to make new body style mirrors work on the last year of the old body style, bad idea! Dodge had power mirrors on the trucks and the mirror heads look just about identical to the standard mirrors these trucks have. It's like come on guys, you could have done better. And mirrors aren't the only thing either.....

(Rant over lol)

Yeah about those mirrors. I think every truck sold in the winter states should have the deicing feature as well as being power adjustable. I mean really. How much more would it cost to put these on as standard features? This could have been done years ago.

Yes, I agree. I'm not saying that things like this should have been standard features, on higher trim levels then it makes sense some would be standard, but they all should have been options at least.

Today's trucks are very nice, richly appointed with all kinds of features which I like, I enjoy having nice things, especially if I'm gonna pay for something as expensive as a truck. I want features that in the course of a minimum of 5 years I know I will use.

Todays trucks are like a spaceship compared to my 77.   A 4x4 4 door will cost darn near 50k!  My 77 cost 4k when it was in the showroom!  What a mark up!  $700/month for the next 5 years, thats messed up. Oh well, cant fight the system.
