I have an 82 c10 with a 350 and turbo 350 trans. It was factory i6 (i believe) and 3 on the tree manual. But is now a floor shifted automatic. Anyway the wiring was a total mess when we put the engine and trans in and we tried to clean it up as best we could on a strict budget. But all lights worked except interior lights. I found a bad ground and got them working. Now I've noticed the parkinglamp in the drivers side of the bumper works when I turn my lights on but not when I turn on the blinker. I've replaced the bulb. Tried to clean the connections. Traced the wires as best as i can based on wiring schematics in the technical section but ive  had no luck with it. The wiring is pretty bad but it's my only vehicle so I don't have time to tear it apart and trace it correctly due to work. does anyone have any ideas what it could be?  I plan to one day install a new wiring harness when I find a daily driver. But it doesn't help most of my fusebox has the words wore off. But all fuses are good. Also the right turn signal light on the dash is always on but this I believe is due to 2 connections on the gauge clusters pcb touching because one of the end terminals was bent and wouldn't stay in place and I seen a pin out for the connector and I believe it's the turn signal indicator. Could this be related?

Generally speaking when the light on the cluster is on, you have either a tail or front turn bulb out.

I've replaced the bulb twice Incase the replacement was broken. It lights up with my parklamps but not with my turn signal. I think in the next few days I'm going to try to pull the dash back out and go over the entire wiring harness and patch any bad spots if I get a few days of good weather and I'm off work. But I will update with shad I find. Thank you.

You getting blinks in the back ?
The front harness splits off under the hood
And the fronts are on a different circuit since the back signals are also the brake lights

Replace the signal control switch behind the steering wheel

When they go bad lots of weird stuff happens

And check the wiring plug where it passes thru the firewall
