Question on a cab swap from a 79 to 81 k10

I would just like to know if it's possible to cab swap from a 1979 Chevy c10 long bed to a 81 k10 shortbed, and I know there will need to be modification to the hump

Yes it is possible, you have to use the bushing for the specific frame year...
