Hey guys, i am wandering where my temp gauge is supposed to be reading, mine reads a tick or two past the center line.
btw, truck is a '79 c10, 350/350 and i am running the stock 195* thermostat, is this normal?

I'm not sure how the factory gauge looks ( I ditched mine before I realized I liked it) but my aftermarket gauge reads about 190 while crusing, I run a 180* thermostat. With a straight fan (flex-a-lite style). But I don't have a fan shroud yet. And the temps get up quickly at a red light or drive thru. But I do not let it get past 210* but I usually just shut it off when I have to sit.
