I bought a fiberglass cowl hood for my exgirlfreinds truck a harwood. This was a few years back before they started making the steel units. It was fairly strait but was about $150 more than the steel hoods on this site.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

I'd go with steel if your only getting a 2" cowl just because I believe its the same price for a fiberglass. If you go any bigger than 2" then you have to get fiberglass.Steel hoods can't crack or anything like fiberglass.

I bought the steel Dominator hood for my 79, just a word of caution though, it is very thin metal, I had a retard moment and supported my self on my knuckles putting on the windshield trim and left knuckle marks. :\
