New guy from Oregon!
« on: November 30, 2015, 05:43:10 pm »
Hey everyone! Thought i'd join this forum to share progress on my truck and learn more!
I have a '74 Custom K20 that I bought from my best friend for $600. Pretty basic truck, am radio, power steering, and brakes are the only options i think. Been getting it running better and fixing little things, bought Ford wheels and low mile 33" tires from the same friend, had to replace the trans and am preparing for a new used engine, part time kit, rear brake job, and freshening up the interior.
Anyways here are some pictures since people love pictures lol

Welcome from California. May I ask, what's with the brain washing antenna on the front bumper? That for a CB? When I had a CB I put the antenna in the bed.

Howdy from Kansas!  Very nice '74, love the yellow.

It looks like at least one original hubcap in a photo?  I hope you held on to it (original '74 tailgate is a bit difficult to find too)...

not trying to threadjack, but We just gave a whole set of these hubcaps that were brand new away to a friend. I wish I had known they were hard to find. I also ditched the original radio and steering wheel too, before I realized I liked it. Haha.

Thanks guys!
The antenna on the front bumper is for the CB, kinda like it there, different and "period". Still have 3 of the original wheels and the full set of caps, tailgate wouldn't stay latched but I still have it, need to buy new internals or spend some time on them.
