I didn't hit anybody on accident, but I did do it intentionally. My 77c10 longbed, 3 on the tree and 350 was used to push someone up a hill near my old apartment building. Man, did I ever mess that bumper up.

i don't feel so bad now. but i regret wrecking mine everyday.as most of ya'll know i hit the corner of a concrete wall when i was pulling out onto oncoming traffic on the highway, pavement was wet from rain, guess i got on it too much since i was pulling out into traffic, slid and lost control and i was acting stupid probably.then i bent the frame a little which led to the topic on this board.i learned to be more careful and that its very easy to bend a truck frame.

I have been run into a few times minor fender benders. I hit a large tree about 30" thick with a 78 K 20 avoiding my buddy coming out of his driveway sideways going the other direction. I rolled my current Blazer right down the road from my old house once, crested the hill and saw the road reflecting my lights do to ice. I lifted and the rear wheels locked, slid to the right corrected that and then slid to the left could'nt save that one, spun completely around went back wards into a culvert header. She stood up vertical on the rear door and flopped down on the right side the door on top of a stone wall and the hood up against a tree. Rolled it back on all fours she started right up but the trans fluid was to low to move. Towed it back to the shop filled the trans bolted on another door and steering wheel good to go. the top of the right door is a little drafty and rain comes in but it mostly a wheeling rig any way.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
