carburator help

have a 79 gmc, with a 350 with a two barrel carb
linkage has never been right since we adheard this truck
replaced head gaskets and had valve job done and want to see
if anyone has pics of proper linkage to the carb
no cruise, just a throttle cable and detent

I have a 79, but it is a 4bbl. I don't have a great picture right now but I can get one this week. Hopefully it will help some.
