203 linkabe switch

i remember reading that the switch that is mounted on the 203 case linkage for the loc light in dash
was used on another gm vehicle for a kickdown sw on a carb i think and it was cheaper...
anyone have info?

i remember reading about something like this

only i think it was used as a sensor from a Camaro or Corvette... like a hood open or trunk open light? something like that
