73-80 side molding

im trying to find some of the 73-80 side molding. not the type that was used with two tone. not the kind thats just one strip up higher. kinda remindes me of the 81-87 molding. and it comes to a point at the front. anyone know were i can find some.

no i didnt but why isn't there any aftermarket trim in this style. ive looked in  , chevyduty and yearone and cant find it.

That isn't factory molding for a 73-80 pickup if you are after factory molding.  That is strickly aftermarket.  You should be able to find it at a local bodyshop though.

it is stock moulding ive seen it on many old junker trucks. i wish i could find a picture of it.

Still Not factory, it was probably dealer installed.  It looks like this right:

yes your right. but it was an available option for 73-80 trucks i think cuz i seen quit a few trimmers out there with this style on. thanks for the help. now i know were to get some.

In the   catalog for 1967-72 trucks, there's a similar molding that's used on 69-72 fleetside trucks. It is the upper molding tho... and already pre-cut for those trucks.:(

yea i seen that to. i was wondering if it would fit.
