New white letter tires

hey guys,
     I am looking for new tires for my 78' c10. I have the stock Chevy wheels and i want to keep them. Do any of you guys have suggestions on what brand/ kind to get? I'd prefer to keep it under $100 per tires. Right now i have different tires on each wheel (what we bought the truck with). They're all terrain and in great shape, i plan on selling those and buying a set of white letter tires that look nice on a classic ride. All season tires are fine as the truck is in the garage all winter.  I believe the tires are 225/75R15, but I'm not 100% sure, I'm at college and cant quite remember.

Your best bet is keepin an eye on Craigs List. New, quality under a $100 a tire do not exist. I came across a wreck, the fella was parting out, that had nearly new Goodyears. Not my tire of choice, but 50 bucks a tire persuaded me pretty easily.

I have Wildcat a/t radials on my 78 k10 and they look great they were pretty cheap if i remember right close to $100 a tire. They are 31/10.5/15's which is a fairly common and cheap size

Goodyear Wranglers are fairly inexpensive.  I have gotten a few sets over the years but sold the trucks.  At the time they were like $75 a tire.  These were on my sons truck

I've only put 3,000 on them......mid-grade tire, they ride nice.
I've owned 8 Chevy PU's. Only bought 1 set of new tires, and was very impressed w/them. Cooper's......Back then they were named the Contractor's tire. A 10 ply all season tire. Rode very nice an seemed to last forever. It would be Cooper if I ever buy another new set. Not to be confused w/the Mastercraft/Copper. Not that there a bad tire, it just wouldn't be my first choice.

I have 15x8 rallies on my 76 Long bed, and I went with the Cooper Cobra tires in 255/70/15.  Cost me $487 mounted/balanced, out the door.  A little more than you are wanting to spend, but so far I like the tires real well, and I think they fit the look of these old trucks pretty well.

Looking for a trim ring for my rally wheels. when i bought the truck it came with three original Chevrolet rings and one unoriginal ring. The 4th ring is a different color and style so i don't even bother putting the rings on. I found rings in   but they want $30 a ring... Then i looked on amazon $70 a ring. Should i buy the trim ring out of   or continue to look on Craigslist or are their any other websites you guys suggest?
