I have only ever seen one pair in all the trucks I have owned. I know they were an option but I think they were not that common. Good score!

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

They aren't EXTREMELY rare, but they also weren't very popular.  The later models probably had more show up, Texas probably had more also since a TON of trucks go there.  It was an option from all years from 73-87.  I owned 1 truck that had them, and have seen over a dozen in passing.  The piece that is the big rarity is the mounts that are welded into the floor.  ONLY the trucks with buckets from the factory had those.  If you didn't get those, you need to.

The buckets are the same that came in the Blazers, that is why only one side slides and the other side is stationary.

I would snag them up ASAP, and as Chris said, get the floor tabs as well.  I have seen the brackets&tabs alone sell for over $100 on Ebay on more than one occasion.  I personally paid $200 for the set I have...seats, brackets, tabs & console.

Chris, I don't think the buckets were an option in pickups past 81/82...or somewhere in there.
