1974 Chevy K10 newest addition
« on: February 17, 2016, 06:10:32 pm »
Bought this past week. '74 K10 longbed with a 350/TH350 and a NP203 transfer case. Paid $1800 for it. Only a couple bubbles in the right side cab corner and a quarter sized hole in the right inner fender well. Has 2 new gas tanks, fresh rebuilt engine, new dual exhaust, complete interior. Factory cab lights that still all work. Only concern that I have is that it has a cam in it meant for a 383. Should I see about swapping it for a stock cam or will I be alright with leaving it in there? It runs fine but I don't know if such a heavy cam will effect the engine in any negative way.
If you wanna know what I'm made of, just look at my truck.

Thanks Jason. It's a Ramsey but I sold my 87 C20 for 1100 and got a different ramsey winch bumper with a full brush guard. I'm most likely going to use the new one on this truck and put that one on my other K10

Nice truck. If it's running good, leave the cam alone.
