Hello from Southern Ontario
« on: March 15, 2016, 04:47:27 pm »
Hey I've been on the forums for a while now and made a few posts but didn't make one of these because i couldn't post pictures, well I've figured it out so Here this is.
Mine is the 1988 V30 Crew cab with the TBI 454, TH400, NP205 drive train and the Dana 60/Corporate 14 FF axle combo with 4.10s.
It Used to be a Fire dept brush truck with the City of Cottage Grove Minnesota so it is low milage (58100 miles of witch I've driven 700ish of) it has A/C, dual tanks and came with a four speaker stereo (i have the radio, it doesn't work but the rear speakers are missing) and has the red vinyl interior.
Future plans include  8" suspension lift, 37" tires on 16" Chevrolet Alloys (2001-2010 i believe), Cummins turbo diesel and NV4500 swap i can then bolt the NV4500 to my NP205 with a Chevy output shaft (32 spline) and Chevy 4x4 tail housing. Once i get the money for all the parts it'll be pretty sweet.
My Dads rig is a 1985 K20 came with a 350/th400/np208 combo it now has an 80's suburban 454, TH400 with a first stage shift kit, NP203/205 Transfer case with the 203 low range as a doubler and twin sticks on the 205, axles are the same as mine Dana 60 with a spool, and a corporate 14 ff with 4.10s and a Detroit locker, it rides on 47" Superswamper LTB big Lugs (just one of these suckers on the rim weights 200lbs, and there are four of them so 800lbs of rim and tire)
