Advice on short term lift

Traded my mint 90 CRX for a sweet 77 K25. Minor fixes and here she is, runs like a dream.



Needless to say the mismatched wheels are ugly, I got deal on some 17s and I'm thinking 285/70R17 M/T Destinations and I hear 33's fit without rubbing stock.

My question is whats the best source for a two inch block lift until I decide to go all out for some real rock crawling?

well even with the 2" blocks you have to put springs upfront cause blocks up front are bad since they can pop out under emergency braking causing you to lose control and kill someone or yourself. theres Zero rate blocks but yes 33s can and will fit with no lift.

17" rims look silly.. and the largest I would go is 16". As stated there is no temporary or cheap lift... You need to do it right the first time or run into safety issues or larger headaches.

A lift is not something to cheap out on.

theres Zero rate blocks but yes 33s can and will fit with no lift.

Are these the same EZ inch kit ?

I figure when I change the springs and shocks I can keep these front and back.

Maybe this 2.5" lift kit later on. So many more options for these trucks then I'm used to.

33"s will fit with no lift    Depending on the wheels
I know they fit with the stock rally rims

I agree.  17s will look funny on a vintage pickup

Well the wheels are paid for  Maybe a second set with highway tires that look better will come later on.

The wheels are -19mm offset and 5.125" backspace

i really dont think you will see a big difference in 16 vs 17s  now 18 on up yeah but 17s imo arent too obvious. i do like those rims and if i had 17" tires i would rock them
