1981 Chevy Scottsdale C-10 swb 2WD 350 V8 engine

Just got a 81 Chevy Scottsdale and need body parts. I live in Southeast Louisiana and was wondering if anyone knows of somewhere close I can get a stepside bed, doors, bed fenders and tailgate. I would like to be able to drive and get them before ordering from  . The cabs in great condition and the engine is tight. I can't wait to get this baby looking right.

If no luck local you can order some of them here too.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Thanks, since the Hurricane has slowed things down here so much I thought it quicker to pick it up. Did check out the parts tho.

Found a door in great shape at the local junk yard. Perfect fit. I bought a tailgate from   a few weeks ago. All I need now is a bed feder. I'll order it soon and body work will be complete.

FYI, You are going to be disappointed in the tailgate.  Don't push on it hard.  That is one reason I don't sell tailgates.

Didn't know that. I thought it felt pretty sturdy. One of the things I like about old chevys are they're not that cheap tin can body made these days. Is Arizona the place to look for originals?

pretty much anywere in the southwest like arizona, texas, new mexico is the best place to go. i got the bed for my 77 from texas and its perfect no rust anywere. i'd never find anything like that here in indiana.
