Fuel tank brackets
« on: March 24, 2016, 10:56:23 pm »
I know there was someone on here not to long ago asking about them. Want to know if he or anyone knows where to get them or part numbers (on phone right now so searching is limited) but I just went to replace my driver side tank only to find the plastic shield did a good job at trapping water and other crap and caused the brackets and tank to be rusted out

I purchased mine right from my Chevy dealer.  I don't know if they are still available anymore but 5 years or so ago they were and in stock

Last I knew they were still available from the dealer. I don't remember the price, but I do remember they were not over priced in my opinion.

You can also get them from the big Midwestern company not to be named on here. They have them in stock and probably less than what the stealership would charge you for a similar quality part.

I wouldn't deal with the big midwestern company if they gave me the parts for free! Their customer service is the worst.
If I remember correctly the dealer got like $65 /$70 a piece.

I've always had good luck with their customer service.

I've never had any issues with them either. They've always treated me right. Bummer to hear that you had an issue.
