rear Differential Drain Plug size
« on: April 19, 2016, 06:52:36 pm »
can someone please tell me the size and maybe where to get a good Rear Differential Drain Plug? I have a 1974 K10 its a 12 bolt..  it is completely stripped so I have to figure out how I am going to remove it but I would like to have a new one ready to go when I do.

Thank you

I bought a brass plug from a hardware store. You can get one that has a hex head instead of the female 3/8 drive plug that's in there. I'm not sure on the size but it's either 3/4 or 5/8 pipe thread.
