Fresh out my shop with my new redneck paint job! It's surly a 50 foot paint job but I'm still happy with it for my ignorance when it comes to painting trucks.

Looks good! Did you paint inside door jams and the interior as well?

No, thats one of the reasons I called it redneck lol I wish I would have now of course but I was taking up shop space and had to finish in a reasonable time. I hope to do the interior some time soon though. This is the truck the first day out, I still need to repaint the grill and take care of the over spray on the wheel well.

Thank you! I used a hvlp spray gun from Horror Freight and cheap tractor paint from Tractor Supply.

Not bad, that is my plan also. After some minor body work though. I figure should be about $100 total. Some shops told me 10k for full body work and paint. Some said 5k for just paint. Its a year-round daily driver p/u friggen truck!!,,,,,not a 70 chevelle ss 454 LS6 restoration!! I guess i just miss the days when you could take a car to any bodyshop, and for about 200 bucks you could get a nice patch job and paint. I know....body filler wont last,,,but it will at least buy you some time.
