3M Windo-Weld Urethane 08609
« on: May 17, 2016, 05:34:28 pm »

Has anyone used this product before? Any problems, warnings or imcompatabilities one should know of (besides it being very messy)?

I would think it would be very useful fore finger-spreading a bit on and around freshly drilled holes (such as through the firewall) for waterproofing and rust prevention. I spread a lite layer on my new aux. battery tray for a little extra traction for the hard-plastic base of a battery.

Thoughts?

I have used windshield urethane to make a gromet around wires passing through metal in the past. I don't think I would completely coat a metal part with it though.
