My Retirement Project
« on: May 22, 2016, 10:49:31 am »
New member from Virginia.  Recently got my hands on a 1985 C-10 Silverado. Other than paint, and a number of cosmetic issues, the ride is in really good shape. New engine has just over 43K miles on it, and the body has very few minor dents, and very little rust.  I intend to keep my mind occupied cleaning her up and making her look good. I have over 25 photos that I will share with everyone...the first four are attached.

Great find.  What part of VA are you in?  I'm near DC and can't seem to find many good deals on these squares up here.

Alex...Residing in Stafford, VA at the moment.  I just happened to luck up on this one.  My brother in law in Newport News bought a new Ram Big Horn and decided to just give the Silverado to his son in law. Well, as I understand it the SIL did not want the vehicle so I took it off their hands.  Here are four more photos I've taken.

Looks like a nice project. I have the same truck except it's a 4wd. Same interior only my lower dash is white.

That underside is in really nice condition. Wise I had something like that to deal with.  :D
