Hi, I am having a problem with the brakes.  I replaced the drivers side front caliper, tried to bleed it, but hardly any fluid will come out of the bleeder. Checked the bleeder it is clear, if I loosen the banjo bolt fluid comes out at that fitting.
After trying to bleed the brake petal is hard but when you start the truck it goes to the floor and is spongy, I don't see rake fluid leaking at any of the wheels or master cylinder.
The truck has abs brakes.
Also is there an easy way to access the rear wheel brake bleeders? The leaf spring is right next to them.

what happens when you completely remove the bleeder?

There is a slim chance that the piston is too far back and blocking the bleed port. Disconnect your brake line, and use air to push the piston out if it is already installed on the truck. If it is removed then use a block of wood in place of the brake pads and do the same. If you do not have an air compressor then use a rubber Schrader valve from a tire to put in the supply port and a bicycle port. This will allow the most control over the piston. If you use a compressor then be extremely careful and a regulator is highly recommended

I agree with Irish...remove the bleeder all of the way out...a lot of times they get dirt in them and you can't bleed the system....see if fluid comes out then...if it does take a sewing needle and scrape and clean the inside of the bleeder and the little hole on the side of the bleeder down towards the bottom....hopefully this will help.
