Heavy Oxidization Removal?
« on: June 05, 2016, 07:10:22 pm »
Hey guys I'm new to the group. I just inherited my grandfather's 79 gmc high Sierra 2 wheel drive, and the paint is heavily oxidized. Can you recommend any tips/tricks for removing it? Or if you know of any good products to try it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

Welcome from California. Depending on how much money you want to spend, you could talk to a few professional detailing shops and see if any of them can just do a good clean, buff and polish on it or maybe they can recommend something. Do you have any pictures of the truck.

Try this polish liquid glass. It's kind of expensive, but well worth it

Here's a picture of the product, to help you find it. It's really easy to use to, rub it in, wipe it off, and let it bake in the sun
