Hello from Pittsburgh
« on: June 10, 2016, 04:53:58 pm »
Hey how's everyone doing! I'm 32 and  I'm working on a 78 k20 350 sm465 np 205. It was my dads truck. He scrapped the body in the late. 80s. The frame has been in the elements for the better part of 25? Years.  I need to get the frame looked at before I go too deep, there is a hole rotted in the rear crossmember. The frame rails look solid as well as all the other crossmembers. I'm hoping to use a crossmember from a junk k10 or 20 rather than patching. What are everybody's thoughts on that?  Anyway I like input good, bad, or indifferent. Hopefully I can get this going and share the build with you guys.
