New to forum and from Northwest Georgia

Wanted to say hello from 50 miles northwest of Atlanta. A long time owner of 73 to 87 rigs, especially the K30 trucks. Been almost 20 years since my last K30, but a recent find has allowed me to aquire my retirement truck.
A truck purchased by a Virginia FD, delivered as new in 1986, with 10 miles on the odometer. This truck now has less than 36,000 original miles.
Upgrades to my truck in the last several months have been an Off Road Design 6" suspension, Trailready 20x10 HD Beadlocks, Mickey Thompson 15x38x20 MTZ's and a CM Industries SS Flatbed.
Much more to come and I'm enjoying being a part of this very knowledgeable forum.
Regards

Welcome from central California. Nice looking truck! I love the crew cabs. I recently purchased some parts from Off Road Design also, I got the rear shock mounts, rear shock mount braces and the HD Super Shackles.

Much thanks for the nice words and it's a factory K30 3+3 cab and chassis dually. I couldn't bear myself to change it to SRW so she's now wearing 9.00x16 Michelins in the dually configuration she was originally built and delivered with. Plus my other K30 was a camper special dually and I've got a thing for the duals.
Drivetrain is 7.4 / SM465 / NP205 and D60 with 14 bolt in rear. Suspension now has all new springs and the goodies from Off Road Design.
The truck is verified, under 36,000 miles and purchased new by the FD in Virginia in 1986.
I've put several thousand more miles on her and she's driven just about every day. Drives like a year old truck and feels like a time machine every time I get near her.
Also nice to see some local guys here on the board.
