Hi I'm new.
« on: August 01, 2016, 06:51:14 pm »
Hello to everyone.

I'm new on this forum, I live in Europe Belgium, since one year, I'm the happy owner of a 1980 Chevy Suburban C20 BBC.

In my place it's a very exotic car, so it's difficult to have some good advise, that's why i join 73-87ChevyTruck.com, to can exchange my experience with peoples who know what they speak about, and of cource to can help with my little knowledge if someone need it.

It's a kind of performance to have a old US car and keeping it on the road, but it's a kind of car who make you love it cause it have a soul, I mean again the economic soulless shits cars who peoples buy new in Europe.

Well, excuse me for my poor english.

I join a link with a picture of my car, and hope to meet some nice peoples on this forum.

Hello Ludwig,

Very nice Suburban!  I bet those are rare to see on the roads over there especially so nice  Have you ever seen another?

Over here, you could just about pick any street in the country and while it may not be a 73-80 burb, you'll likely run across a 73-91 square body suburban of some type.

Thanks for posting!  If you have any other pictures I'd love to see them.

Rob

Thanx to all your messages, it show me this forum is alive.

I have au question, I try to post some pictures in the gallery, Suburban part. It say me, my pictures will not be published cause it's not yet approuved. How can i do to make it appear?

For me it's a first step to sharing my experience.

Thanx

welcome from maryland. take a moment to read this theres a link to show you how to upload pictures from your phone or pc but they have to be under a certain size. you can also use a site like photobucket.com to host the pictures then use thier img code to show up on here. with them you dont have to worry about picture size

My old Suburban, I love it... The engine is running perfecly, transmission very smouth.

Next step is to repare rust and find a two tones original paint. Any ideas for that?
