Do you think an european guy can take care about his truck as nice than a north american one can do?

It's not eazy because of the shipping charges and taxes for import up to 50% of the starting price.

An other thing I miss is the knowlege, i mean to have a negbough friends who know that car and can help me.

So in fact it take more time and seeking, but it can work.

Please tell me what you think and make me some suggestions. In fact, I want to paint in original colors after rust repair and also do you think a Edelbrock 1406 is sufficient for a 454 bbc?

Here's a good post about carburetor volumetric efficiencies:

A 600 cfm carb is a little on the small side for a 454, but should be fine for normal driving.   I've run Edelbrock carburetors, but prefer Rochester Quadrajets.

As for your first question, I would think being in Europe one may have to have more patience and maybe even more dedication than their North American counterpart.

Jason, thanx for the info and the link about carburators and cmf. You say, 600cmf it can be ok for normal driving, i understand that as as "it will never make your engine overstrain it's a security to keep it long time in good shape" Is it true?

Irish, thanx for the newbs info link, I find lot of things about my car, as the place where it was made, i keep it in my favorits to can regulary go to see if i find answer for my questions before posting on the forum.

the 600 will do the 454 well unless you push the rpms above 5500 or its a racing motor
