side mirrors
« on: July 22, 2006, 12:51:00 am »
Hello all,
as i continue to purchase the necessary parts for my stepside project, 1 particular part i am really looking at is the side mirrors.I really want to lose the big bulky mirrors and want to use something more aerodynamic.I been really looking at the 82-92 camaro/firebird mirrors.I just purchased a pair off of ebay and i am looking into making some mirror extension blocks.Has anyone tried to use these mirrors for their trucks?

thanks

Nah they still dont fit the look i am after.Theres some guy i was searching on the google search and came across a low 74 stepside w/ airbags. He had the gm round bullitt mirrors like the older gm cars had.I am gonna experiment on the mirrors i just purchased, there non power and should work w/ a little modification..

A budy of mine just bought some mirrors that mount inside the door for his 35 Pontiac. I checked them out they work good.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
