Just my intro post for me and my vehicles. First off the red '92 3500, and why it is totaled, I was driving it home from work and stopped to make a left and turn, the truck behind me a 2009 ford f150 crew cab stopped, but the guy behind him a 2016 dodge 3500 crew cab, was speeding and texting, he hit the both of us traveling 60+ mph, my truck's frame was bent, cab and bed was smashed and radiator, battery, drivers seat, radio, cooling fan, and exhaust were all destroyed on impact, so it was totaled but I was paid pretty good for the trucks value.
So, that brings me to the 1989 R3500, when i bought it it had damage from an engine fire, a bent flexplate, and some ugly faded vinyl decals. So far, I have fixed the flexplate, powerstering pump, pitman and idler arms, front tires, boiled out the radiator, new thermostat, fixed most of the burned wiring, and pressure-washed the stripes off of it .
on my list of things to still fix/ upgrade: replace damaged hood, tiny pinhole rust in right rocker, damaged right front door, spring mech on gooseneck trailer, airconditioning, swap out the chrome simulators for my alcoa aluminums, OVERDRIVE, repair electric locks, reupholster interior, repaint, and performance upgrades for the 454.

In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!
