Stock radio with aftermarket speakers on 84 K10

Can I run new 6x9 speakers in my cab corners and keep my stock head unit?

I don't remember how many outputs are on the stock unit, but it shouldn't matter otherwise.

pretty sure you can but theres a conflict between the new speakers and your old head unit. cant remember off hand but try the search

Yes, you can run 6x9's in the corners.  Did you know you can also add bluetooth to your old stock unit?  It's pretty cool (and cheap)!

The stock radio uses 10-16 ohm speakers.  Many of the speakers out there are 4 ohm causing a lot of strain on the Delco stock radios.  While it will work that is the leading cause of stock radio's to stop working.
