Bypassing the fuel selector valve and connect the tanks?

Has anyone successfully connected the duel tanks to eliminate the selector valves?

yes. one guy attached a tube from the bottom of one tank to the other and pulled from one tank. think he had a fitting that he jb welded to the bottom of the tanks (i would of TIG welded it if it was me). then you can fill up on either side or just one (if you have a regular bed with one fuel door).

That's kind've what i was thinking, I suppose the fuel cap would act as a vent to balance the fuel levels in the tanks.
