74 K10 Custom dashboard build

I am coming to the end of completely restoring my grandfathers 74 K10 but I need some help with regards to the dashboard. I have attached some photos of the process so far as I am working on installing a Pioneer touch screen monitor into the center of the dash. This seemed to be the best location do to the size and weight of the unit and it will allow access to the fuse panel behind it if I need to get into the fuses in the future. the issue i am having is I have limited fiberglass experience and not upholstery experience. All of the shops in my area are either too busy or just flat out told me that they do not want to take this on so it looks like i will have to learn on the fly.
May dash pad is not in terrible shape especially compared to some I have seen on here but it obviously has some spots that will need to be filled. It seems like the "great stuff" foam spray is the preferred choice of repair on this forum. Is there a better way i should consider?
I have done some fiberglass work already on this truck when I made a custom fan shroud so I at least know what i am doing. My main problem is figuring out how to anchor the fleece to the dash? Will spray adhesive work? will the adhesive or resin eat the existing dash and cause more problems? I will attach some photos to get this build thread going...
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CHIME IN AND OFFER SUGGESTIONS AS I COULD USE THEM!

Here is the start after the initial cut into the dash. You can also see the custom support cage that i have constructed for hold the Pioneer unit.

Here is another view of the cage and a view with the pioneer unit sitting in place. You can also see one of the areas that needs repair on the top near the window.

I then welded a face plate on to give me something to work from with the fiberglass.

Finally I have the face plate and support piece in place. This is where i currently am in the process and need some help. Can any shed some insight on what the next steps are? I am guessing I need to patch the holes in the existing dash and then stretch the fleece Correct?

Can someone offer some advice on next steps or paste a link to an in depth build thread?

So I guess cut away all the loose stuff, fill with the expanding foam, clean and decrease, and then coat with resin? Do I need to use the fiberglass mesh for strength or just use the resin to build up the hard coat?
Any specific resin I should use?

im not going to comment on what type cause ive never used it. ive seen it used on repairing dually beds but not for dashes. i would think if you welded the box good to the metal dash then you shouldnt really need strength. you could use foam and sand it down to the shape you want then fiberglass that. but again im green when it comes to that stuff.
