My Intro
« on: February 04, 2017, 03:41:40 pm »
Hey.  My name's Paul and as my tag suggests, I drive a Grumman Olson Kurbmaster.  It's a 1986 (August) with a 292 inline six and a turbo 400 transmission.  It's frankenstock.  Been my daily driver for the past ten years following 20 years service with Canada Post.  I never was much of a car guy so I might be a little green regarding much of this trucks systems.  I'm fairly handy though and have been taking good care of this old truck and am looking to better that care.

I found this forum because my smog pump had started screaming at me every morning.  I pulled it apart, removed the fan blades and reinstalled it.  No more screaming and, fortunately for me, not illegal in my neck of the woods.

Worked on more than a few of those over the years.  Welcome from Central California!

It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!
