TBI injector is dumping fuel
« on: February 15, 2017, 10:15:16 pm »
I have a 1987 R10 350 with TBI.  I have just finished rebuilding the engine and while I was at it, I rebuilt the throttle body.  The engine ran fine before, just had a head gasket leak, so that's the reason for the rebuild.  But tonight I go to crank it for the first time and come to find out that my driver side injector is just pouring gas out.  The engine never did fire off, but every time you would turn the key and the fuel pump kicked on, my injector just pour gas.  I unplugged both injectors and same thing.  So guessing the injector is bad or stuck open or I goofed on the rebuild?  :-\
