« on: February 22, 2007, 04:06:00 pm »
Well i got my 5 piece cab repair kit in today..Well my 4 piece i think thay ran out of stock on the rocker backing plate...But anyways my floor is pretty rotted away and im looking for some ideas..I was thinking about only cutting out what i need and taking a flange tool and making a flange on the old floor bord so i can just cut down the new one..And be able to just let it sit in the Flush flange...And then spot weld it and go over it with seem sealer.....So thay way it will Tie in the old stuff with the new stuff vary well...Any ideas?

I only replace what needs to be replaced when I do them. Floors are not that important to flange them. I would weld a solid bead not spots. Drill holes through above you frloor suport etc. to plug weld the ne metal down ot them.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
