What is this sensor?

Trying to ID this sensor.  It's on the back right side of the A/C, wires are purple and yellow.

Motor is an LT9 5.7L

first thought is an air cleaner temp sensor but to better help you

Please include Year, Make, Model etc.. when posting

In the image the wires appear brown and yellow.  That is the air temperature switch for the Air Management System used on heavy-duty emissions engines.

Yes I made a mistake, the wires are brown and yellow.
