Refinishing Emblems?
«
on:

Do you guys know any place that refinishes the factory emblems such as the one on the interior dash, and the fenders and tailgate?
New replacements are obviously really expensive and I'd like to pick up a cheap set and refinish them if possible.

the work to get them done may be just as expensive as getting new ones!

I knew somebody would post that answer...
You know each new emblem can be as expensive as $35 a piece right?

In the Brothers catalogue that I got, the corner pieces of the molding for the cab are $25 a piece(without Chevy Emblem)...... With the Chevy emblem, they are $120!!!
Thats crazy!!! Too @#%$ much for my billfold....

Yea, maybe I can find a good chrome or bumper shop in my area. Thanks SGT.
Those blasted emblems are ridiculously priced huh. I suppose that's just the way it is though if you want to restore one right.

Actually, I am hoping the emblems are right on with the price they charge.
I have the grill and bowtie emblem for the front on my 86 K-10 and the quality there is first rate.
They're really good about taking parts back too if you aren't happy.
