Engine frame mount??

Hey guys I have been screwing around with this problem for the last month and can't find a good answer, I don't really know what the name for the part is besides engine frame mount which isn't pulling anything up. I bought a 1979 GMC Sierra Grande and I wanted to put my 350 out of my old 85 Van into it but I can't get it to fit. I switched the motor mounts out but they still won't line up. I bought a new engine mount bracket and it's the same size as the ones on the engine already. I'm getting beat up by this problem but I don't want to quit on it so any help would be greatly appreciated and if someone has a link to another thread like this please post the link. Thanks in advance.

What engine did the truck have originally?  What exactly doesn't fit?  Can you post a pic?  Which pieces in the attached illustrations are giving trouble?

It's #9 on the pic of the C's. I'll post a pic when I get off work for some reason I can't get my pics to upload on here but when I put together the motor mount and go to drop the engine into the truck the holes on the clamshell and the engine bracket won't line up if the frame brackets are bolted to the frame. I know I am doing a terrible job explaining my situation so please bear with me. Lol

I found that sometimes loosening the bolts of the motor mounts(the rubber clamshells) to the frame side(3 bolts total each side) and then dropping the engine on and putting the bolts through help align the mounts. The frame side bolt holes are slightly elongated. It is difficult to retighten those mount bolts, but not impossible.
